actually vegan's do go to burger king.
going by YOUR comment... unless you are a hypocrite, i can assume you watch every step so you do not accidentally step on an ant or other insect, i can also assume you do not travel faster than a mile or two an hour so you do not hit any flying creature or anything like that. how do you clean your fresh vegetables from your organic garden where you get all your food? i assume you do not shop at any grocery store since they get their groceries delivered by trucks that kill animals/insects while traveling. were your clothes you wear transported by trucks? i would love to live in a world where nothing that feels pain was ever injured, but do not condemn burger king, they are giving people what they ask for, like other businesses do. if the people did not want to eat corpses, burger king would not serve them. burger king does have vegan options, it is deceitful to say they do not. peace Do you find this valuable? |

Part of the philosophy of this site is that being vegan is about peace. If we can't even have peace among vegans, what does that say?Our approach is based on the law of supply and demand. The more demand Burger King perceives from the market for vegan options, the more obligated they will be to fulfill it. If all the vegans walk away from Burger King, that only leaves the non-vegans for Burger King to hear from. The people saying "more meat"! We want the Burger Kings of the world to hear from the people saying "less meat"! In fact, as you can see from this New York Times story, Burger King is even listening: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/28/business/28burger.html?ex=1332820800&en=97595c76694421ef&ei=5124&partner=permalink&exprod=permalink I'll post this link in the Burger King info page too. The law of supply and demand works. Let's let these companies hear from people like us who want more and more vegan options at all restaurants. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
